Getting Started

The Alpha API is designed for ease of use, but there are some important things for you to know before you get started.

We recommend that you review the API documentation to familiarise yourself with the API endpoints and functionality. Our guides take you step by step through the setup process and the API reference provides code snippets for reference.

As an Alpha client, you are welcome to use our API service. Start by reaching out to your relationship manager or contacting the integration team at [email protected]. If you are not an existing client, please contact our sales team at +44 (0)20 3800 0120.

To access data through our API, you'll need to authenticate your requests using an API key and secret. Once registered, we'll send these to you. For more help, follow our detailed authentication process here.

Once you're familiar with the available endpoints and authentication, it's time to begin development. We provide a sandbox environment that is fully loaded with mock data, giving you an isolated, risk free development space that replicates the live environment. We are always at hand to support and provide advice where appropriate.

When you’re happy with your solution and ready to switch to the live environment, let us know. We’ll set you up with production credentials, which will enable you to access the production endpoints and start pulling data and instructing transactions.
